LIABILITIES: The following statement is made in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied. The user of any product manufactured or sold by ScottRods Custom HotRods & Fiberglass is solely responsible for determining the suitability of the product for the intended use. The user is therefore responsible for all risks and liabilities related to the use of said products. All products manufactured and/or sold by ScottRods Custom HotRods & Fiberglass should be properly installed by a certified technician with a background in fiberglass technology.
PRICING: Most parts are priced per item but a few are priced per pair. Ohio residents without a tax exempt certificate on file are required to pay a 6.75% state sales tax on parts orders. Rollers will be taxed through the owner’s state BMV when the vehicle has been approved through the inspection process and is licensed. ScottRods will supply a notarized Certificate of Origin with each Roller for this purpose.
PAYMENT: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal (additional fees may apply) and wire transfers. We also accept money orders, business and personal checks and will ship your order upon clearance of funds. We require a 50% deposit on all body and parts orders over $1,000 and payment of the remaining balance is due before orders can be shipped. Body/Chassis Packages will require a 33% deposit with the 2nd payment due when the chassis is finished and the balance due upon completion of the order.
CANCELLATION: Our fiberglass parts and bodies are handmade-to-order and are placed into our schedule and produced within estimated lead times. Cancellations are acceptable before the order is in process. Once placed into production, order cancellations will be subject to a 15% charge. No Exceptions.
SHIPPING: Orders are shipped ‘Prepaid & Add’ via UPS or Commercial Carrier. Packages with a total girth less than 166” (l+2h+2w) can be shipped via UPS. Larger orders will be palletized and/or crated and shipped via commercial carrier. A charge of $100-$300 will be added to all crated orders depending on the size of the crate. Freight charges are based on weight, dimensions and destination and cannot be calculated until your order is packaged or palletized for shipment. The freight charges are added to your invoice at the time of shipment. Commercial Carriers charge additional fees to deliver to a residence so have your order shipped to a business whenever possible.
RETURNS: Authorization for returns must be approved by ScottRods within 7 days of receipt of the order. Authorized returns will be issued an RMA number and a prepaid return shipping label or Bill of Lading will be sent via e-mail. Returns which have not been modified or damaged will be issued full credit less a 15% restocking fee after inspection. Credits issued for freight charges to the customer are up to the discretion of ScottRods Management. Returns will only be authorized to the original purchaser and accepted from the original ship to address.
